Air France has announced it will be participating in the 2012 MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE by way of two exclusive series: Air France Finest Tables and the Air France Culinary Workshops.
The airline will help promote culinary tradition by hosting Air France Finest Tables in 48 Montreal restaurants welcoming the festival’s guest chefs. It will also present the Air France Culinary Workshops, a new feature of the festival in 2012. Each of the nine workshops open to the public will offer 24 people the opportunity to take a cooking class and enjoy a rewarding experience in a friendly atmosphere.
“We are pleased to commit for a tenth year in a row to the MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE. We are especially proud to associate our brand with the new Culinary workshops series” says Fabien Pelous, Vice President and General Manager of AIR FRANCE KLM, Canada.
On board its flights, Air France offers its customers the chance to experience privileged moments of pleasure and relaxation. The menus are designed to satisfy all taste buds. Menus inspired by French recipes please customers who are attached to traditional cuisine. As for the wines, thanks to Olivier Poussier, named the world’s top sommelier in 2000 in Montreal, it reflects the wide range of French wine-growing regions, and to bring out the best in the wine, it is chosen to match the choice of menus harmoniously.
The 13th edition of MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE will run February 16 to 26, 2012, and showcase the Wallonia-Brussels regions of Belgium.
Air France has daily flights from Montreal and Toronto to Paris-Charles de Gaulle where high speed rail connections to the Brussels-South railway station are available. A single reservation is all it takes to book a combined flight and train trip in either direction.
