See your baggage allowance

The number of checked baggage items you can transport at no extra charge depends on your destination and travel class. These regulations apply to flights operated by AIR FRANCE and KLM. For code-sharing flights, other rules imposed by the airline operating the flight may apply.

Does your baggage exceed the allowed quantity, weight or size limit?

If your baggage exceeds 158 cm (height + length + width) or the weight limit (up to 23 kg each, or 32 kg in the La Première or Affaires cabins), you must pay an extra fee.

Please note:
  • No baggage item may exceed 32 kg / 70 lb*
  • If you are carrying sports equipment, please visit the Special Baggage section

Special fees

Certain flights are subject to special baggage fees.

Case 1
You are traveling on an Air France flight between:
  • Bangkok and Phnom Penh,
  • Jeddah and Djibouti,
  • Conakry and Monrovia,
  • Conakry and Freetown.

or on a KLM flight between:
  • Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta,
  • Bangkok and Taipei,
  • Dammam and Doha,
  • Kuwait and Bahrain,
  • Muscat and Abu Dhabi,
  • Singapore and Denpasar,
  • Bonaire and Quito.

Case 2
You are traveling between Los Angeles and Papeete.

Case 3
You are traveling on a KLM flight between Europe and Saint Martin.
